Billy Ray

Billy Ray has worked in radio all over central Texas, including Copperas Cove, Gatesville, Temple, Belton, and Waco. He won the American Eagle Award from the Country Music Association of America, Music Director of the Year, and Station of the Year, Best Promotion of the Year. He was the announcer of the Killeen PRCA Rodeo for over 20 Years and The JR Rodeo.

Leo’s career in radio spans 25 years across Texas, beginning in his hometown of El Paso. As the son of an Air Force veteran, Leo had the opportunity to experience various cities before settling in West Texas. His dedication to radio in Texas is evident as he has worked in different regions including Midland-Odessa and now Central Texas.

Throughout his career, Leo has been deeply involved in community service, particularly supporting causes like the Children’s Miracle Network, St. Jude, and the National Honor Flight. These efforts highlight his commitment to using his platform for charitable purposes and making a positive impact on the community.

Leo’s passion for music shines through his work, where he shares his love for all genres with his audience. His journey from El Paso to various parts of Texas reflects not only his professional growth but also his enduring connection to the state and its people.
