Legendary Pink Floyd vocalist/guitarist David Gilmour will play his first shows in the United States in eight years this fall in support of his forthcoming album, “Luck And Strange”, set for release on September 6th. Luck and Strange is the 78-year-old Gilmour’s first new album in nine years, and will feature late Pink Floyd keyboardist Rick Wright on the title track via excerpts recorded during a 2007 jam in a barn on Gilmour’s property.

Gilmour’s first U.S. shows since 2016 will take place on Oct. 29-30 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and Nov. 4-5 at New York’s Madison Square Garden, marking the only cities to host Gilmour’s concert appearances in North America.  The U.S. dates will be preceded by six shows each at Rome’s Circo Massimo and London’s Royal Albert Hall in late September and early October.

Gilmour’s touring band will include Gilmour on vocals and guitar, Guy Pratt on bass and backing vocals, Greg Phillinganes and Rob Gentry on keyboards, Adam Betts on drums, Ben Worsley on guitar, and Louise Marshall and The Webb Sisters, Hattie and Charley, on background vocals.

Fans should sign up at davidgilmour.com to get first access to tickets on Wednesday, May 15 at 10am local time. The general on sale for all shows will take place on Friday, May 17 at 10:00am local time.
